This is the personal blog of Mugur Cosmin Frunzetti. This page explains, briefly and honestly, what data is collected when you read the site, why, and what control you have over it.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Mugur Cosmin Frunzetti, the author of this site. For any question or request about your data, message me on LinkedIn.
What data is collected
- Traffic statistics (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent. On your first visit a banner appears. If you choose “Accept”, Google Analytics sets cookies and measures the pages you read, where the visit came from, the type of device and your approximate country. If you choose “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set; through Google’s consent mode only anonymous, cookieless signals may be sent. Data sharing with Google for other purposes is turned off.
- Your cookie choice is saved in your browser (localStorage, key
mf_consent) so we do not ask you on every page. It never leaves your device. - Your preferred language. The site is in Romanian and English and remembers your choice with a technical cookie (
pll_language, valid for one year). - Security and hosting. The site runs through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and may set technical security cookies. Like any website, the hosting server keeps technical logs (IP address, browser, requested page) used for operation and security.
The site has no contact, comment or newsletter form and does not sell anything. We do not use advertising cookies and do not do profiling.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Traffic statistics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- The language cookie, security and server logs: our legitimate interest in running a site that works and is secure.
Who receives the data
Data may be processed by Google (Google Analytics), Cloudflare and the hosting company, as service providers working for the site. Google and Cloudflare may transfer data outside the European Union, including to the US, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. I do not sell or rent data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Google Analytics data is kept for the limited period set in the account and then deleted automatically. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it. The language cookie expires after one year.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing. You can withdraw your consent for statistics at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
For any request, message me on LinkedIn. If you believe your data is not handled correctly, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country (in Romania, ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Changes
If the site starts collecting other data, I will update this page and the date above.
